03/08/10 - Work has now completed on a commission by Opera North to create a filmed performance DVD of a recent project. Created in collaboration with the National Probation Service, the 'Limelight' project was filmed in mid-June. Publicity still photographs were also commissioned (examples below). Enlargements and full printing currently being arranged.

 

 

11/05/10 - Horseshoe Boy is heading off to the Cannes Film Festival again this year. With a treatment of 'Tacet' complete and the script underway we're arranging meetings with a view to International Co-Production. More news when we have it.

 

30/04/10 - We're pleased to announce we're in the development stages of a feature project - working title 'Tacet'. Set in Stockholm the drama follows the effects an old friend has on a family when by chance he meets them again after 17 years. Further details to be posted here soon.

 

18/04/10 - Well, It's been a while hasn't it! Horseshoe Boy has been more than a bit tardy with the website updates - so apologies for that, but the boy has been keeping busy on various projects. More news will be posted here shortly. Oh - and the website will have a refresh at some point soon also. 'Not before time' I hear you say...

08/01/09 - Belated, but very welcome news received, that Jonah's Quids won Best Foreign Short at last years Sacramento International Film Festival.

31/10/08 - Jonah's Quids 'highly recommended' and accepted for screening at CAN2008 Leicester International Film Festival.

27/06/08 - Jonah's Quids accepted into Shot By The Sea - Hastings Film Festival.

23/06/08 - Jonah's Quids to be screened and presented with Tenerife Film Festival Awards at International Filmmakers Festival, Kent on 26-27/06.

06/05/08 - Jonah's Quids wins two awards at the 2008 Tenerife International Film Festival.

16/04/08 - Confirmation that Jonah's Quids was nominated for Best Foreign Film at the recent Sacramento International Film Festival. Updated festival screening times available on the film's microsite.

03/03/08 - Jonah's Quids gains official selection at this years Newport Beach Film Festival, and picks up 5 nominations for the Tenerife International Film Festival. Check the JQ's site for further details.

27/02/08 - Horseshoe Boy has recently filmed video content for the website of the Royal Opera House production of Gentle Giant. Further details and images will be posted shortly.

27/02/08 - Further festival news on Jonah's Quids - we're pleased to announce the film has been accepted at the Oxford International Film Festival (Ohio, USA). The festival runs between 10-14/04/08). Further details on this and confirmation of other festival screenings on the JQ's site.

11/02/08 - Jonah's Quids achieves official selection at ONLOCATION: Memphis (previously Memphis International Film Festival - 27-30/03/08) and Fargo Film Festival (05-08/03/08). Screening confirmations for festivals mentioned below are now confirmed. See the Jonah's Quids site for more information.

04/02/08 - More festival news. Jonah's Quids has just been accepted as an official selection at the upcoming Foursite Film Festival, taking place in Ogden, Utah in early March 2008. Again - more news when we have it.

17/01/08 - Jonah's Quids has been accepted in competition at the Sacramento International Film Festival which takes place at the end of March 2008. Further details to follow.

13/01/08 - The film of the final performance of Demon Juice from the Royal Opera House Clore Studio has now been completed, some images of which can be seen below. Work continues on two documentaries of varying durations on the creative process of the project and the journey of the participants. Again - images will be posted online shortly.

10/01/08 - Colin Sprockett: Numbers Man has been invited to screen at the Film Connection evening of Short Film and Animation at the Roxy Bar and Screen, London SE1. The evening, organised by Non-Multiplex Cinema is on Thursday 17th January from 7pm. See below for more details:-

16/12/07 - Following well-received performances of Demon Juice at both Stratford Circus and Royal Opera House, work begins on producing a film of one of the full performances, as well as a short documentary on the creative process. Images from the edits will be posted online shortly.

26/11/07 - Jonah's Quids to be screened at the LONDON FILMMAKERS CONVENTION on Friday 14th December. More details on the Jonah's Quids site.

05/11/07 – Performances of the Street Stories project, entitled Demon Juice, take place at Stratford Circus on Friday 9th Nov (2000) & Saturday 10th Nov (1530 & 2000), and then again at Royal Opera House (Clore Studio) on Saturday 24th Nov (1900) & Sunday 25th Nov (1500 & 1900).
